ACLS Training – COMING SOON

Our ACLS Course is directed towards health care professionals interested in learning how to recognize and manage cardiac emergencies and cardiac arrest.

The intended audience is

• Personnel staffing emergency departments
• Critical care departments
• Emergency medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency technicians, paramedics
• Respiratory therapists
• Other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

The course consists of an interactive review lecture, then small group workshops in airway management, defibrillation/cardioversion/external pacing, dysrhythmia recognition, and simulated cardiac arrest management.

During this course the participant has the opportunity to review the approach to the difficult airway. We will also review and interpret somewhat more challenging rhythms and ECG’s.

We use simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice skills individually, as part of a team, and as the team leader.
